Assessment Of The Integrative Roles Of The ERP Systems: A Case Study Of Al-Burhan Group In Iraq (Dissertation Sample) Content: ASSESSMENT OF THE INTEGRATIVE ROLES OF THE ERP SYSTEMS: A CASE STUDY OF AL-BURHAN GROUP IN IRAQStudents nameCourseProfessors nameInstitutionLocationDate AbstractThe dissertation assesses the integrative roles played by the ERP system in the engineering and building industry, especially the Al-Burhan Group based in Iraq. The organization was selected because it boasts of a successful organizational performance; hence the need to find out the effectiveness regarding integrating the ERP structure. The research entails a purely descriptive perspective, which has utilized qualitative methods in conducting the study. The information from the respondents was collected via interviews that were carried out in the organization from a sample that was representative of the departments, 15 managers from selective departments. The findings were then analysed by the help of the NVivo software, which analyses qualitative data only. The study used purposive sampling, which targeted on the managers to ensure that the relevant information is attained. The findings from the respondents show that the ERP system at the Al-Burhan Group is well implemented and the employees use it as needed. It was evidenced that the ERP software is effectively used in the organization across the departments. Additionally, the Al-Burhan group has initiatives that often assess the running of the ERP system. Moreover, it was realized that there are more men ERP operators than women, a situation that can have an impact on the decisions; when there is a diverse presentation of both genders, there is a wider perception of looking at things and this will foster result achievements. The researcher identified organizational change, resistance to change, inadequate resources such as finances and time coupled with a lack of measurable objectives as the core challenges that hinder ERP implementation and function. In this regard, the researcher recommended that the Al-Burhan Group should employ mo re work as ERP operators to boost decisions and ensure exertion of efforts to use the system effectively to avoid manual work.
